Annual Bazaar and Soup Luncheon
Good Shepherd will be having its annual bazaar and soup luncheon on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009 beginning at 10:00 a.m. This annual event has been a favorite in Webster City for years, drawing crowds of shoppers through the tiny church on the corner across the street from Sunset Heights Elementary school.
The bazaar features many traditional Christmas baked goods, candy, crafts, and special displays by local artisans. All proceeds from the bazaar are used for outreach projects both within the Webster City area and the larger community.
Also offered at the bazaar is a cookie and tea table, where one can relax with coffee, tea, and Christmas goodies. A soup luncheon will be served throughout the morning and noon in the social hall. There is no general charge for the soup luncheon; freewill donations are accepted as a benefit to the church.
