Good Shepherd Episcopal Church is a congregation that holds worship and music to high standards, learns new hymns and sings with great gusto to the glory of God. The marvelous acoustics of the sanctuary assist greatly in supporting congregational song, ensemble singing, soloists and instrumentalists. Easter, Christmas, festival and regular services during the church year are greatly enhanced by the gift of music, dance and visual art. Good Shepherd has been the site of “standing room only” organ and vocal recitals in the recent past, with plans for more in the future. Music at Good Shepherd is led by Mr. David B. Moklebust.
Congregational song is led by two state of the art digital instruments. Through generous pledges and donations from members of Good Shepherd, St. Mark’s, and friends, the congregation was able to purchase a new Rodgers 790 2-manual digital organ and a full-size Kurzweil digital keyboard. These digital instruments continue to be a blessing to Good Shepherd. The worship experience has been greatly enhanced by the myriad of sounds possible on these instruments. The added recording and playback feature on the organ has proven very useful during those times when the organist is away.

Good Shepherd uses the following resources in their Sunday worship:
The congregation is fortunate to have several members who are willing to share their artistic/musical gifts to enhance our worship. Liturgical/interpretive dance, artistic design, woodwinds, brass, hammered dulcimer and handbells help to provide a dynamic, thoughtful and spiritual worship experience.
